It may be mounted in one of three orientations. In each case the beam passes across the diameter:
-
Beam through 'narrow' windows. In this orientation, scattering at 90° may have a maximum vertical divergence of +/- 6° and horizontal divergence of +/- 40° to one side and +/- 45° to the other. Scattering along the transmitted beam may have a maximum vertical divergence of +/- 6° and horizontal divergence of +/- 8°;

The incident and transmitted beams, must not exceed 55 mm diameter.
