    ISIS Neutron and Muon Source has an ongoing programme of developments to ensure the continuation of cutting edge science.
  • Target Station 1
    ​Target Station 1 (TS1) has run for over 35 years without significant maintenance or development work. The TS1 project seeks to upgrade key elements of the target station, with the actual work taking place during the long shutdown in 2021/22.
  • Target Station 2 Phase II Instruments
    The ISIS Phase II project, now complete, covered a range of activities on the second target station and consisted of a change of the Beryllium reflector and the delivery of four new instruments.
