This was the first school of this type since the 1998 Scottish Universities Summer School in Physics held at St Andrews University.
The school welcomed 45 participants academics, postdoctoral researchers and PhD students from 16 different countries to learn about the advanced concepts of muon spectroscopy and their application across a wide range of science areas. Over 30 speakers delivered a combination of lectures, workshops and a tour of ISIS, giving the attendees a comprehensive insight into the latest techniques and applications of muon spectroscopy.
