History

I completed a BSc(Hons.) in Physics at the University of Melbourne in 2006, working with particle accelerators as part of research projects at the Australian National University in 2003 and at CERN in 2005. I then completed a DPhil in the John Adams Institute for Accelerator Science at The University of Oxford in 2010. My DPhil thesis was focused on the design of novel non-scaling FFAG accelerators for charged particle therapy as part of the PAMELA project.

I currently hold a Research Fellowship as the 2010 Brunel Fellow with the Royal Commission for the Exhibition for 1851. My research focuses on the development of novel accelerators including FFAGs for high intensity proton applications.

I am also actively involved in public engagement with physics, having 8 years of science communication experience including an array of outreach initiatives, schools programs and public lectures.
