Zoë's involvement with neutrons began in 1979 when she joined the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. She saw the construction and development of ISIS in the 1980's, taking on group leader and division head roles, and eventually becoming Deputy Director and Head of Operations in 2014. Zoë was an integral part of ISIS through her long career, serving the facility and its user community and enabling ISIS to develop into the world-class centre that it is today.
