​I am a Helium Recovery Support Technician within the Cryogenics Team. The role mainly involves the operation of the recovery system on site, and the distribution of pressure vessels to ensure continuous supply of liquid cryogens to the experimental beam lines within TS1 and TS2.

I started working at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in 2016, and began my current role in 2019. I have been previously employed at the UKAEA Harwell site for 26 years where I gained HNC qualification in Chemistry, and worked as a laboratory technician, then waste officer using isotopic finger print data to help reduce legacy waste arising from facilities on that site.​
