​​​Job Role:​

• General lab support across R55 and R80 
• Assisting with support for the Biolabs and R79   
• Responsibility for the chemical and sample storage facilities, including Active Sample Cupboards 
• Ordering of consumables and chemicals for use in the labs 
• Sample shipping to users and delivery contact for samples into ISIS 
• Maintenance and repair of lab equipment including overseeing service contracts
• Waste management and disposal
  

Previous Experience:

Spent four years at the National Blood Service as a technician. Started at ISIS as a dual role technician across Cryogenics and Lab Support. After six years I moved to full time Lab Support as more labs were built and my role expanded. I am now coming up to 20 years at ISIS.
